Rahul Mishra Spring 2021 Couture Collection is the greatest surprise in the Haute Couture fashion world.
Why do I name it the greatest surprise? Because in spite of all world’s slowing, Rahul Mishra – Indian based fashion designer – has become a locomotive in the Spring Couture movement.
He described the current time with optimism:
“In today’s world, whether we like it or not, we live for occasions, even if they’re small by ‘Big Fat Indian Wedding’ standards,” he quipped. “What people are realizing now is that being together is what matters most.”
With so many artisans jobless right now, Mishra said that he felt a bigger calling in couture, as compared to ready-to-wear.
Mishra worked with bases in glass organza or tulle, then he added independent layers? some poetry and grace.
When I’ve watched his collection’s photos for the first time my brain has moved on a seaside, and I realized that I desperately need a vacation: seaside, sand, shells, a glass of vine, and no worries about anything.
