Etro house history.

 Etro house history has started in 1968 as a textile company by its head Gimmo Etro. He was passionate about textiles and all things around. After two decades – in 80s – Gimmo added leather and furnishing textile and only in 1996 Etro House created their first clothes collection.

For their initial textile collections, they got inspiration from a hippie movement, then added some ideas from trips to India, and finally, their swirled paisleys became synonymous with the Etro House label.

I personally love the hippie style, and it looks like the hippie style is the DNA of Etro House.

Etro Spring-Summer 2020 Ready-to-Wear show – brief description.

For current Spring Creative director Veronica Etro (Gimmo’s daughter) continue their unique style of Etro House but she made it chick and fashioned. By wearing Etro clothes you don’t need to look like an oldfashioned hippie but opposite.

For example, you can wear an Etro coat above a classic suit and become chick and fab. Or wear a printed semi-transparent long dress under a classic jacket – and vu a la – you are gorgeous and fab again. All juice of Etro women’s collection is you can wear a whole look or just a piece from it, combine separate pieces with other available clothes in your wardrobe and be always stylish and fashioned.
